July and August, 2016
Communities are fluid and dynamic places. Increasingly, we recognize that the old ways of working are not achieving the change we desire. We are seeing negative trends in many communities on issues like poverty, homelessness, obesity and teen suicide.
How do we disrupt these patterns?
What leadership is needed to truly transform our communities and drive change forward? Is the adoption of the collective impact and community collaboration strategy an effective model for community change? How can we disrupt what separates us in order to work together? How can we understand and address the interconnections of the issues and challenges that are owned by all of us?
These are the types of questions that we plan to address in our upcoming Community Change Institute Webinar Series. Each 1-hour webinar in this series will focus on a different theme that will be featured at the 2016 Community Change Institute. These webinars will bring in faculty from the event, such as Liz Weaver, Paul Born and Mark Holmgren, as well as Keynote speakers, including Stephen Patrick and Severn Cullis-Suzuki.
