MBA 16 Symposium for Managers/Directors and Program Staff of Youth Development and Engagement Programs

The MBA Symposium is celebrating 15 years as the largest annual training event for people who work with/supervise recreation, arts, health promotion, sport, justice, employment and education programs, and/or youth advisory committees/networks with youth ages 13 – 19.
Also, back by popular demand the pre-symposium workshop: Positive Youth Development. Gain valuable skills to help you support youth to develop the core competencies they need to transition into adulthood.

MBA delegates can select from a wide range of presentations on topics such as youth engagement practices, programming for newcomer youth, using the collective impact approach, evaluating youth programs, and more.

The Wednesday plenary includes presentations from the Director of the Youth Services Branch (Ministry of Children and Youth Services), the Vice Chair of the Premier's Council on Youth Opportunities, and the Program Manager of the Youth Opportunities Fund (Ontario Trillium Foundation). Thursday's plenary presentation, 10 Big Ideas to Increase Engagement on Social Media, will be sure to heighten your hits, triple your Tweets and more!
