National Child Day is celebrated annually in Canada on November 20th and commemorates Canada`s adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 and the UN`s adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in 1989. This webinar will bring together individuals who work to implement the UNCRC and the rights it enshrines, and young people who were born and have lived their lives under the Convention, which Canada ratified in 1991. The webinar will also provide an opportunity to explore young people's understanding and lived experiences related to the UNCRC and child rights, particularly related to health and other current issues of concern.

Presenters:
