Join Canada's Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) leaders and decision makers for an exciting two-part event hosted by Upstream.
Growing public awareness of the roots of better health has opened the door to many conversations about how to equitably improve social conditions to further this common goal. Upstream invites you to join us in exploring the best ways to move this conversation into action.
Afternoon [1:00 to 5:00 pm.]
Indigenous leader Max Fineday, physician and climate health advocate Courtney Howard, and professor and prolific author Dennis Raphael, among others, will share their ideas for action on health equity. The afternoon will be ripe with ideas and challenges. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with Canadians active in promoting better health for all.
Evening [7:00 to 10:00 p.m.]
Our keynote speaker and world-renowned author Richard Wilkinson, co-author of The Spirit Level: Why Equality is Better for Everyone, will share the stage with other health experts for an evening that is sure to inspire.
