KFL&A Public Health is a local public health agency with over 200 staff and 150 volunteers who deliver public health programs and services to the people of the KFL&A area. There is an immediate opening for a Public Health Dietitian, Chronic Disease Prevention within the Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention division.
The Public Health Dietitian will promote and protect the nutritional health and well-being of individuals and communities. The Public Health Dietitian will use evidence based practice to inform health policies and programs, and to implement Ontario Public Health Standards and protocols.
The successful candidate will have a Baccalaureate degree in foods and nutrition from a recognized university and be eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. A minimum of two years related experience is preferred.
