Engaging youth in rural communities is the focus of our new workshop: Connecting with Youth: The Rural Way.
With a grant received from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Parks and Recreation Ontario and Play Works are hosting four no-cost, day-long workshops in the fall of 2017.
These workshops are open to elected officials, economic development staff, advisory committees, youth services providers, business people, and/or those from rural communities with a keen interest in learning how to better engage and retain youth participation in local initiatives.
Registration is limited to 25 participants.
