Practical Information, Tools and Strategies to Address Substance Misuse

Staff are invited to this two-day workshops where participants will gain an understanding of the dynamics of concurrent disorders, including prevalence, and treatment. The course provides practical tools and strategies, including the stages of change theory, motivational counselling, harm reduction, and relapse prevention. Participants will also be oriented to referral and treatment options. This program is transferable to a wide range of treatment settings.
