7th National Safe Communities Foundation Conference

Join us for the 7th national Safe Communities conference (Keys to Safety) co-hosted by the Safe Communities Partnership of Perth and District in Perth. The Safe Communities Partnership of Perth and District is pleased to extend an invitation to all conference delegates to participate in post-conference activities, keynotes and workshops on October 20, 2004.

The overall theme is Keys to Safety. Key elements of any successful Safe Communities program are partnership and collaboration, which will be highlighted throughout the conference. Local community and national partners, like-minded community agencies and businesses, workplace health and safety associations, service clubs and other not-for-profit groups will be encouraged to join with representatives from Safe Communities across Canada for this unique opportunity to learn from each other and share resources.

Conference highlights include Memorial to Young Workers who have been seriously injured or killed on the job, hosted by Candace Carnahan from the Passport to Safety Program; Safe Communities Foundation Awards Banquet; barbeque in the Crystal Palace featuring a CD release party by Mary Lambert, a two-time Juno nominee; pre-conference workshop on fundraising by Cynthia Armour, CFRE (; and over 40 selections of oral presentations, workshops ,and round tables

Registration Fees are Early Bird $325.00 (by September 15), Regular Rate $425.00, One-day $225.00, and Workshop $50.00. Student rates are available. Extra banquet tickets are available for $25.00. Exhibit space and sponsorship packages are also available.
