Conference - "Economic Evaluations: Making the Case with Dollars and Sense"

Across Canada, public and charitable service organizations are being challenged to better describe outcomes of their work. Increasingly, decision makers are looking for "harder" evidence of the impacts that program proponents have long suggested but seldom describe.

In response to these challenges, The Prevention Dividend Project will be hosting a conference this fall designed to be of particular interest to executive directors, association directors, program managers, funders, evaluators, researchers, communication and/or financial administrators.

Cost: $265.00 pre-registered; $295.00 after September 1, 2001

The Conference will cover three important themes:

* Economic Evaluations: Principles and Practices: Learn the basic principles and methods that are involved in the development and implementation of economic evaluations.

* Great Illustrations: Over a dozen presenters will provide practical insights and share the results of their own economic evaluations.

* Marketing a "Return on Investment": Understanding how to characterize your findings and "fit" them into a broader social marketing strategy.
