Process

* Conference Readings - A comprehensive List of Readings and Invited Conference Papers will be posted at http://www.yorku.ca/wellness/heartconference for all participants to read.

* Invited Conference Chairs - Invited Conference Chairs will present summary of research on specific issues such as Child Poverty, Lifelong Learning, Day Care, Unemployment Insurance, and Two-Tier Health Care System. These summaries will be posted at http://www.yorku.ca/wellness/heartconference for all participants to review prior to conference date.

* Invited Conference Delegates - Delegates will be assigned to one of the Working Thematic Groups which will produce a major Policy Position Statement on the thematic issue under discussion.

* Conference Registrants - Conference registrants will be assigned to one of the Working Thematic groups in order to provide critical feedback from a multi and inter-sectoral perspective.



Deliverables

Recommendations for Policy, Planning and Programmes - Final Published Report available September 15, 2001.
