Identifying and Communicating the Societal Causes of Illness: Why is there a Missing Story?

The Scarborough Hospital-Family Wellness Centre Annual Guest Lecture presents Dennis Raphael, PhD, Associate Professor, School of Health Policy and Management, York University, Toronto.



This is an opportunity to increase our understanding of community issues and their implications for health and health care delivery through the presentation and discussion of recent and relevant research findings. Dr. Raphael's most recent publications focus on the health effects of income inequality and poverty, the quality of life of communities and individuals and the impact of government decisions on Canadian's health and well-being.
