Alcohol Advertising and Youth

The Alcohol Policy Network and the Association to Reduce Alcohol Promotion in Ontario are pleased to be hosting a teleconference on Alcohol Advertising and Youth. (http://www.apolnet.ca/resources/education/presentations.html).



This teleconference will feature three presentations:

* Dr. Marvin Krank, Professor of Psychology at the University of British Columbia, will be discussing Canadian data on "The Effects of Alcohol Advertisement on Youth: Changes in Cognitive Processes Associated with High Risk Drinking."

* Nancy Miller, Social Marketing Practitioner with Miller Neighbour & Associates, will be discussing "Risky Drinking and Social Marketing."

* Diane Buhler, Executive Director of Parent Action on Drugs, will be discussing the report from "Risky Drinking-The Un-Conference" held in June 2005.
