Imagining Public Policy to Meet Women's Economic Security Needs

What kinds of policies will ensure that women's economic security needs are met in British Columbia and beyond? The intent of the conference will be to "imagine" and analyze effective public policy as it pertains to women in the areas of employment standards and barriers to labour market participation, welfare and social policy reform and community-based health-care. The emphasis of the conference is on forward-looking public policy solutions. Attendance from both academic and community-based participants is welcome.
