The Health Communication Unit (THCU) is pleased to offer all Ontario youth-serving organizations yet another exciting training project - the Youth Engagement Training Project. The project was initially proposed by TeenNet, funded by Health Canada, and now managed by THCU.

Topics for the two-day workshop event are

1. Making Changes Work in Youth-Serving Agencies

2. Youth Action Guide for Community-Based Smoking Prevention.

Workshop participation is free! Participants will be trained on how to build the capacity of youth-serving organizations to engage in local tobacco control activities. Supportive materials will be provided along with free follow-up consultations.

So, if you can use the free training on youth engagement, log on to and complete the simple online registration form by September 16, 2005. You may also qualify for certain travel subsidies.
