SENIOR PROGRAM CONSULTANT - Public Health Education




This challenge calls for an experienced, dynamic individual to join the Ministry of Health, public health branch, to provide expert advice and assistance on health promotion to the ministry, local public-health units and health partners. You will support policy development, effective implementation and evaluation of mandatory public-health programs/services and other ministry/government strategies for health promotion and disease prevention.

Location: North York.



Qualifications: expert knowledge of health education/promotion, principles of adult education, public needs and approaches, and program planning and evaluation normally acquired through a master's degree in health education/promotion, adult education or health sciences; demonstrated leadership skills; excellent project-management skills to co-ordinate, plan and execute activities; highly developed policy-planning, analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills; excellent

communication skills. Salary Range - $49,400 - $58,600
