A Tobacco Use Prevention Promoter is needed to plan, develop, implement and evaluate tobacco use prevention programs. You have a Master's Degree in Health Science, Health Promotion or related area, and a sound knowledge of tobacco prevention and behaviour change theory. You are experienced in health policy and youth programming. You show demonstrated competence in program planning, implementation and evaluation, health promotion strategies, and community mobilization. Your talent for written verbal and mass media communication rounds out your qualifications. We will also consider candidates with a baccalaureate degree in health or applied sciences who have 2 years experience in the above and strong research and analytical skills. This individual will be working within a team of 8-10 multi-disciplinary health professionals focused on tobacco and substance abuse prevention and heart health promotion. This position will largely focus on youth smoking prevention.
