The Client Support Worker is a new position. Responsibilities: provides brief intake interviews with new clients, information and referral services, & advocating for client support. Maintain an atmosphere of respect in the lobby area of the agency, support the initiatives of front desk, program and clinical staff, and intervene in situations that require de-escalation and/or supportive counseling.
* Minimum 2 years experience working with people who are homeless, use substances, have mental health problems or are impoverished in other ways.
* Knowledge and experience with crisis intervention strategies and community resources.
* Formal training in social services or equivalent training/experience.
Salary: $17, 238 - $21, 493 plus benefits.
