St. Christopher House is a multi-service neighbourhood centre serving west central Toronto through three locations. The Meeting Place Adult Drop-In at our Queen and Bathurst Street location, seeks to rebuild healthy community through working with adults who experience poverty, social isolation and who have been excluded from meaningful participation in society.
The Co-ordinator ensures the year-round operation and delivery of services and programs in a busy and highly visible Drop-In. The position requires relevant education and experience in community based program delivery dealing with adults facing poverty, homelessness, racism, discrimination, mental health systems survivors, persons with addictions and Native issues. Experience is required in crisis intervention, counselling, program planning, budget preparation, preparing funding proposals, team building and supervising staff. Diplomacy, interpersonal and advocacy skills are essential.
