Duties: Plans, develops, implements and evaluates health promotion programs. Liaises with commuity groups and agencies. Develop and coordinate distribution of resources to worksites, schools and health professionals. Provides information and advice to the public and Health Unit staff.
Qualifications: A Baccalaureate Degree from a recognized university in a health related field or the equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Advanced skills in oral and written communicatoins, group facilitation, marketing and excellent interpersonal skills. 2 years experience in community health an asset. Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Wage Rate: In accordance with the CUPE collective agreement
