The Health Network Coordinator reports to the Director of the Health Network and is responsible for general administration and the support and coordination of research projects.
University degree, administrative experience, independent, flexible, resourceful, motivated, computer literate (MS Office), ability to solve basic computer problems, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to balance various demands and tasks.
You will be responsible for coordinating the administrative aspects of the Health Network of Canadian Policy Research Networks. The Health Network consists of five full time staff based in Toronto and Ottawa in addition to numerous consultants . You will be required to facilitate communication between the two offices. Your duties include the organization of workshops, meetings and an international study program, maintenance of the Health Network library and filing system, revision of policy documents prior to publication, preparation of materials for
meetings, basic computer troubleshooting and elementary bookkeeping. You must enjoy working independently. There are opportunities to become involved in ongoing research projects.
