Public Health Nurses - Full-time, Temporary, & Casual

Our Family Health division is looking for full-time (file #05) and casual (file #01) Public Health Nurses to work in the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children program. Recent experience in a maternal newborn setting would be an asset. Temporary (file #09) positions are also available in the Child Health program which focuses on promoting optimal development of children.

We also require casual (file #03) Public Health Nurses to teach prenatal classes offered throughout the Region. Prenatal education certificate and/or recent experience in prenatal teaching is an asset.

Opportunities are also available in our Healthy Lifestyles division on a full-time and temporary (file #10) basis. The programs and services in this division focus on reducing chronic diseases and promoting healthy lifestyles.

To qualify for any of the above positions, individuals must also possess: * a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent * current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario * excellent assessment, communication, health promotion and problem solving skills * recent experience in public health is preferred *access to own transportation * fluency in other languages would be considered an asset.

The salary range for a full-time position is $47,338 - $55,037 and $26.01 - $30.24 per hour for a casual position.
