National Network on Environments and Women's Health / York Centre for Health Studies
The National Network on Environments and Women's Health (NNEWH) seeks an executive co-ordinator to assume responsibility for management of its research, policy, communication and networking activities. NNEWH is a consortium of academic and community partners funded by Health Canada as a Centre of Excellence and housed at York University.
The successful candidate will have: established links to women's health communities (both academic and non-academic); familiarity with national and global women's health policy contexts; excellent planning, administrative, networking and writing skills; computer literacy; and demonstrated experience with financial management, academic, policy-oriented, and contract research. French an asset.
Contract is for 12 months, beginning March 1, 2001. Salary will commensurate with education, experience and time commitment.
