The Sport and Recreation Branch, Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation is seeking a bilingual individual to provide expert
advice/consultation to the ministry/clients/partners on recreation development issues in Ontario. You will: manage relations with
Provincial Recreation Organizations by providing strategic consulting/financial support to the recreation sector to further the objectives of the Ministry's priorities in recreation; work with volunteers/professional staff of provincial recreation organizations on self-reliance, physical activity and recreation development issues.
* Demonstrated knowledge/understanding of Ontario's sport and recreation sector and recreation development issues/trends. Sound knowledge of community, organizational and business development theory/ principles.
* Demonstrated negotiation, evaluation, analytical, project planning, program management and financial skills.
* Strong background in consulting, issues management and service orientation.
* Proven written/oral communications skills. PC proficiency. Proficiency in English and French.
