Research Coordinator Centre for Excellence for Youth Engagement
This is a 3-year contract position which includes comprehensive benefits coverage.
The Centre of Excellence for Youth Engagement is a National consortium of researchers and practitioners interested in youth engagement. The Centre of Excellence for Youth Engagement is committed to working with youth.
Reporting to the Principal Investigators, the Research Coordinator will coordinate foundational research studies (e.g., narrative study, focus groups, and a longitudinal investigation of "engaged" and "unengaged" youth); be responsible for literature reviews; supervision and training of research assistants; maintenance and quality control of research database; assisting with report and article preparation; and, budget monitoring.
This position requires a graduate degree in a relevant discipline with several years experience in a research setting. The successful candidate will have a familiarity with and an interest in youth programs as well as both qualitative and quantitative research methods. This individual also will be thoroughly conversant in qualitative and SPSS statistical packages.
