Tobacco Use Prevention Promoter, Healthy Lifestyles & Disease Prevention, Social & Public Health Services, City of Hamilton


(17.5 hours per week, temporary)



Assisting with the development, implementation, evaluation, project management of tobacco use prevention activities and direct client service through answering our Tobacco Hotline. Working on topics such as second-hand smoke in the home, smoking cessation, smoking in public places bylaw implementation, and orienting health professionals. Maintaining files and reference materials. This temporary part-time position is available from approximately the end of April for up to 20 weeks. Requires a baccalaureate degree in health sciences or equivalent and experience in health promotion, program planning, implementation and evaluation.



Remuneration based on $25.20 per hour. (Position pending approval for external hiring.
