4 days per week (six month contract)
The project coordinator will oversee the research and development phase of a comprehensive, practical resource on healthy child development for parents. Building upon existing material, this resource will ensure that consistent, reliable information on all aspects of physical, emotional and social child development is available to parents across Ontario.
Working closely with the Best Start Manager and our publishing partner, Family Communications, the project coordinator will build and establish relationships with a variety of professionals across the province who work with children between the ages of 0 - 6, and liaise with parents to gather credible sources of information, identify the information needs of parents, and develop the overall content framework.
This is a six month contract position with renumeration equivalent to $45,000 plus benefits.
We are seeking an individual with an undergraduate degree and / or equivalent experience in the health promotion or early child development field, excellent communication skills, facilitation skills, resource development experience.
