The Breast Care in Ontario Initiative is seeking submissions from motivated and experienced research consultants to conduct a qualitative inquiry, including key informant interviews with key stakeholders in the breast care community and focus groups involving women diagnosed with breast cancer. The BCO Initiative involves a multi-step research inquiry that will investigate ways to enhance communication, coordination and continuity across the spectrum of breast health programs/services (e.g. breast health promotion, diagnosis, treatment, aftercare, palliative care) throughout Ontario.
Including the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation--Ontario Chapter as the lead partner, a group of five volunteer-driven, community-based and breast cancer survivor-based organizations have joined to guide this initiative. Our partners include Canadian Breast Cancer Network, Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation - Breast Centre Women's Committee, and Willow Breast Cancer Support and Resource Services.
Deadline: Friday April 23, 2004
