Maternity leave, one-year contract
The Health Services Dietician will work with Kettle and Stony Point Health Services program staff to implement health promotion activities and to provide both individual and group education.
a) Must have bachelors or honours degree specializing in Foods and Nutrition
b) A current member in good standing of the College of Dieticians
a) Provide a broad spectrum of health promotion activities in collaboration with Health Team
b) Target all age groups throughout the lifespan, group and individual sessions
c) Develop and offer programs targeting diabetes prevention and management
d) Resource for various Health Centre programs (i.e., CPNP, Home and Community Care, HBHC, etc.)
e) Development of policies and procedures for delivery of nutrition services
f) Development of various nutrition focused community campaigns
g) Facilitation of in-service training for staff and home support workers
Salary Range: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week with a full range of benefits
