Director, Program Development, Ontario Literacy Coalition

The Director, Program Development, plans, leads, and manages the OLC's diverse research, resource and development initiatives. As the lead contact with Ontario's literacy program providers, this position plays a major role in developing and maintaining relationships with members from the literacy field.

The primary focus of this position is to provide effective and timely leadership and support in the sourcing, development, and implementation of projects that will support people with literacy challenges and deliverers of literacy programs, decision makers and the general public.
Ideally, you have a post-secondary degree in adult education (or related field), and have a minimum of three years experience as an adult educator, preferably working with adult literacy program and adult learning principles. A superb communicator with strong project management and presentation skills, you have a flair for group facilitation and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain constructive relationshps with a variety of stakeholders, including government representatives and organizations.
