The successful candidate will manage the Infectious Disease Control Team, which is being expanded to enhance surge capacity, both locally and provincially, and to increase monitoring of disease outbreaks.
Requirements for this position include a Masters in Health, Social Sciences, Administration, Education or Health Promotion, and either a BSc in Nursing with a current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, or a BSc Applied Sciences (Environmental Health) with certification as a Public Health Inspector from the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors. Experience in program development and evaluation, excellent communication skills, and very good computer skills are also required.
