Coordinator, Health & Wellness Education, Student Health Service, McMaster University


The Health & Wellness Education Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective development and coordination of all health education/ promotion programs for students at McMaster University. This includes program planning, implementation and evaluation.



The coordinator is responsible for the supervision of one Health Educator, one Health Education assistant, and approximately 35 student Peer Health Educators. Emphasis is given to building and sustaining relationships with the McMaster community (faculty, departments, and student organizations).
12 month contract position



A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required. A Master's degree in Health Education is a strong asset as is a a solid foundation in current health education theory and delivery models. Preference will be given to those candidates with experience in student health/ community health/ health promotion.
