The Planning Analyst - OTSSC will work as a member of the Prevention Unit team to support planning functions for the OTSSC and the communication of these functions within the Division of Preventive Oncology, and externally as appropriate. The primary responsibilities for this position include coordinating and supporting meetings, providing planning support to subcommittees involved in the analysis and development of planning strategies, developing and implementing communication related to the functions of the OTSSC, planning and conducting planning sessions and reviews, other duties as assigned.

The Ontario Tobacco Strategy Steering Committee (OTSSC) has been convened to provide external strategic planning, coordinated operational planning and advisory support in comprehensive tobacco control to the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-term Care.
Ideally, you have completed a Master's degree in health science, planning, or policy or a relevant bachelors plus five years experience, an understanding of health promotion theory and program planning, demonstrated systems, and strategic planning abilities as well as demonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholder relationships.
