In the coming era of LHINs (Local Health Integration Networks), finding
practical and workable ways to coordinate hospital and community
service providers and to involve the community in health care planning
is going to be particularly crucial. Three of Wellesley Central's
visiting scholars --John Stevenson, Blake Poland, and Irving Gold--
will discuss how these challenges can be met.
We hope there will then be a lively discussion with researchers,
service providers and others in the audience on how to realize the
potential of community engagement and collaboration in health care
