Senior Manager, Evaluation/Smokers' Helpline, Centre for Behavioural Research and Program Evaluation, University of Waterloo

USG 10 - This is a two year contract position that is contingent upon funding.

Master's degree in health, social or behavioural sciences or equivalent
education and experience.  Several years demonstrated experience
in project management and program evaluation including design,
implementation using a variety of methodologies, data management,
analysis and reporting essential. Demonstrated ability to supervise and
manage staff. Proven capacity for critical and analytical
thinking.  Strong verbal and written communication skills
including the ability to effectively communicate research, evaluation,
findings and implications to a varied audience.  Superior
organizational, time management and planning skills.  Up-to date
knowledge of evaluation design, qualitative and quantitative
methodologies and analytic methods.  Ability to work in a team
environment with multi-disciplinary components, as well as working
independently.  Sound problem solving and judgment skills. Solid
computing skills including word processing, database management,
spreadsheets and statistical software. Experience with cancer
prevention, tobacco control, cessation, telephone counseling services
and/or behaviour change is an asset.
