Introduction to Evaluating Health Promotion Programs

The Grosvenor Club
Presented by The Health Communication Unit in partnership with the London Middlesex Health Unit

This workshop provides participants with the knowledge and skills to
select and design the most appropriate evaluation for a health
promotion project. At the end of the two-day workshop those attending
will be able to contribute to the design of a comprehensive evaluation
based on an understanding of health promotion, the specific context and
stakeholder interests; select the right evaluation methods for a
specific project; and interpret and critically assess evaluation

This workshop uses a mix of presentations and hands-on exercises. A number of examples will be examined throughout the workshop.

Who should attend?  This workshop is intended for health promotion practitioners who are
conducting basic evaluations, or working with evaluation specialists.
