Public Health Nurses, Hastings & Prince Edward Counties Health Unit

The Hastings & Prince Edward Counties Health Unit requires  for the Belleville Office for the following positions:

1.    Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention Department -
Permanent full-time position.  Initial assignment will be to the
Healthy Active School Communities (HASC) Initiative (half-time) and
Heart Health Co-Ordinator (half-time).
    
2.    Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention Department -
Maternity Leave contract position for up to one year effective February
5, 2007.  The incumbent will be assigned to the Chronic Disease
Prevention Program and Workplace Health Program.
    
3.    Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention Department -
Maternity Leave contract position for up to one year effective February
5, 2007.  The incumbent will be the School Health Co-Ordinator and
involved with the Healthy Active School Communities initiative.
    
4.    Communicable Disease Department - Maternity Leave
contract position for up to one year effective January 22, 2007. 
The incumbent will work as a member of the CD Team and duties will
include but are not limited to responding to outbreaks of respiratory
disease in long-term care facilities.
    
Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing with Public Health Preparation. 
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, a valid
Ontario driver's licence and use of an automobile.   A
satisfactory Police records check is required.
    
Normal working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., however flexible working hours are required.
