Research Use Week (Northeastern Ontario)

Tools, strategies, and stories of using evidence in rural and remote health services delivery and policy development

The overall goal of this three-day event is to enhance evidence-informed decision-making in health system policy and management in northeastern Ontario. This event is aimed to anyone who is charged with, or interested in, using research to guide important decisions about how the healthcare system is organized and managed.

The program will explore tools, strategies and stories of using evidence in health services delivery and policy development from a rural and remote perspective. It offers a unique opportunity for those who play multiple roles in rural and remote health systems and communities to develop research use skills, tools and strategies.

Tailored to respond to the specific interests of those who plan and provide health services delivery in rural and remote areas and communities of northeastern Ontario, the program draws upon local content and expertise.
