Overview of Session

Identifying injury prevention priorities is an important first step in the planning process. This session will describe an approach to establishing injury prevention priorities that can be used by organizations and communities. This process involves utilizing available injury data, considers
important qualitative factors and fosters a consensus building approach.

Session format

The SMARTRISK Learning Series is a teleconference-based educational program designed for Canadian injury prevention practitioners.

Thanks to generous funding and support provided by the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Public Health Association, the SMARTRISK Learning Series is offered through the Ontario Injury Prevention Resource Centre and is available free of charge to participants across Ontario.
