This conference will be addressing critical human/sexual rights issues from global, national and local perspectives. With seven full—day or half day Pre-conference sessions, four outstanding plenary sessions, and 40 concurrent sessions distributed over the three days of the main conference, there is a tremendous range of human rights concerns being addressed. Included within the comprehensive program are several sessions addressing gender variance and the human rights concerns of transpeople...spheres in which many principals, school boards, and public, volunteer and youth service agencies, and their boards, are responsible for the provision of "safe space" and protection from harm. Few yet have policies and practices which are "up to code"!
