For publication in October 2008
Target date for submissions: September 17, 2007
The American Journal of Public Health is calling for submissions to this symposium edition. The AJPH is the journal of the American Public Health Association, but it aims to achieve international coverage and to attract contributions from all parts of the world, including, but not limited to, the United States or North America.
The Symposium edition has no limits on submissions within the area of reproductive and sexual health, and no preferred topics or disciplinary background. That is, the Journal accommodates submissions based on any of the health and social sciences. It includes, for instance, empirical studies and more academic papers that address law, policy and political interests, which may be specific to particular cities, regions, countries, or continents. However, the Journal tends to expect submissions to address public health concerns, rather than concerns of clinical or medical management.
