The Canadian Partnership for Children's Health and the Environment (CPCHE) invites persons interested in gaining more information and experience with issues associated with Children's Health and the Environment to become Local Champions in their communities.
Local Champions are people dedicated to issues affecting health and the environment and who would like to learn more about how to avoid exposures to environmental contaminants that can impact health outcomes for children (and adults!). Local Champions will receive training, resources and support at an upcoming two-day training workshop in Toronto, Ontario. These workshops are held free, through the generous support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming a Local Champion for Children's Health and Environment, please download the flyer at http://www.opha.on.ca/LocalChampionWorkshop-Poster-Jan07.pdf (link opens PDF file).
Please contact Beth Anne Currie, Local Champion Project Coordinator at (416) 979-3939 x5 or Bethanne@healthyenvironmentforkids.ca for more information or to register.
