CMHA, Ontario, is a provincial association, committed to improving services and support for individuals with mental illness and to the promotion of mental health in Ontario. We have 32 branches providing community mental health services throughout Ontario.
You will coordinate projects that appraise service delivery models and approaches within a regionalized health services system, identify options and provide advice. You will review health services research and performance monitoring findings. Develop tools and resources which support the planning of community mental health services. Design and analyze surveys, as well as extract, analyze and report secondary data that supports the broader policy functions of the organization. You will prepare reports and presentations which will contribute to the formulation of policy options and tools to support a more effective health system. You will also participate in provincial committees and work groups.
We are seeking an experienced individual with a university degree in an appropriate discipline and preferably post-graduate level training. A minimum of 5 years experience in health systems information, health services operations or human services planning. Familiarity with provincial directions in health care reform is required. Advanced oral and written communication skills. Experience conducting projects and managing a workload within established timelines, and an ability to work effectively within a team environment are required. Sound working knowledge of MS Office, as well as SPSS and Survey Monkey or equivalent.
