Temporary Full-time (12 Month Contract)
As an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team, your assignment may include planning, implementing, and evaluating population based health promotion activities including mass media and communication campaigns, liaise and collaborate with community partners, schools and workplaces, and develop health information resources, i.e., newsletters, brochures, displays.
Education and Experience: a degree (Masters level preferred) in health promotion, or a related discipline, knowledge and experience in the areas of chronic disease prevention is an asset, complimented by knowledge, skills and experience in project management, behaviour change theory, and mass media communication. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills; analytical and problem-solving skills, group facilitation skills; advanced computer skills, and a current Ontario driver's license and use of a vehicle.
