The Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration`s Immigration Branch seeks a results-oriented individual to lead strategic program and policy development to support the settlement and integration of newcomers to Ontario and the ministry`s diversity agenda. You will: design and develop program/policy options and implementation plans to support program delivery; manage stakeholder consultations and collaborate with sector stakeholders including community agencies, federal/municipal stakeholders and other funders; conduct environmental scans and research on integration/diversity issues; analyze trends, program data, demographics; develop policy options/program implementation plans; develop grant programs/guidelines and evaluation frameworks, submissions/concept papers/project implementation plans; lead project teams; provide consultation, advice and briefings to a variety of audiences.

Qualifications: advanced strategic program/policy development skills; thorough knowledge and understanding of policies, programs, stakeholders, services and initiatives contributing to the integration of immigrants in Ontario and diversity issues; demonstrated policy/program development experience, problem-solving, conceptual, analytical, project management and evaluation skills; advanced oral/written communication skills to make presentations, prepare briefing notes/submissions; team leadership skills; excellent stakeholder liaison skills; proficiency in office software.
