The terms of reference for the ARAPO Recognition Award is now available for viewing.
The ARAPO Recognition Award is presented in recognition of individuals and organizations that have made, and continue to make, outstanding efforts to reduce the effect of alcohol promotion in Ontario.
Last year's winner, Mina Bozzi showed impressive commitment to reducing the influence of alcohol promotion and protecting public health and safety through your passionate involvement in a variety of educational activities. Additionally, her commitment to the Booze Buzz Peer Education Project and Keep Control Campaign went far above the minimum expectations. Providing education opportunities for media literacy about alcohol advertising is important in reducing the negative influence alcohol ads have on personal choices around alcohol.
Nominations are due by February 29, 2008.
