10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Caboto Club 2175 Parent Avenue
The day is divided into 3 modules: 1) Knowledge transfer 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m; 2) Health Fair 1:00-3:00 p.m.; 3) Building networks and group discussion on the social determinants of heart disease 3:00-5:00 p.m.
The objective of the workshop is to bring together community members and partners who are concerned with the well-being of African Caribbean Canadians so as to facilitate community action in the fight against heart disease and stroke. It is the goal that this forum will lead to more unified approaches and actions in our region and will result in a better understanding of the needs of the diverse communities of people of African Heritage.
Your participation will make an invaluable contribution to the success of the event and the outcomes moving forward.
