The ASIST workshop (formerly the Suicide Intervention Workshop) is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Over 400,000 caregivers have participated in this two-day, highly interactive, practical, practice-oriented workshop created by Living Works Education Inc. (http://www.livingworks.net). Certificate is provided upon completion. Avoid disappointment by registering early as this workshop fills quickly. The workshop starts at 9:00 a.m. and does not begin until all participants are present. Parking has been arranged across Huron Street at Hibiscus Gardens Apartments.
Cost: $175.00--this cost covers all participant materials, certificate, lunch and refreshments. Registrations will be accepted until March 28, 2008.
