Advanced Practice Teaching Day for social workers, child welfare services and educators, mental health professionals, palliative care providers, physicians and nurses

Grief is neither a mental state, nor an affliction, nor a problem to solve. It is skill of life that must be taught and learned.  This workshop day will explore:

  • Dying Parents and Their Children: Strategies for professional leadership when everyone is lost
  • Teaching Parents to "Love Their Child to Death": Mission possible
  • Playing through the Darkness: Using creativity to engage grieving children and teenagers
  • Guiding in Deep Darkness: What professionals need to know about death and families
