The Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC) is seeking several tobacco control consultants to provide a variety of consultation services between April 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009.
Consultants will be required to develop or update tobacco control workshop curricula and resources, and play a lead trainer role for such workshops across Ontario. They are also needed to conduct in-depth tobacco control-related consultations with health and community agencies across the province.

The Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC) is a resource centre of the Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy and the Ontario Health Promotion Resource System (OHPRS), responsible for providing training and technical assistance to professionals working in tobacco control in Ontario. Funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion, PTCC is a partnership of Cancer Care Ontario (CCO), Health Promotion Consulting, Ontario Tobacco Research Unit, Region of Waterloo Public Health, and Sudbury & District Health Unit. PTCC's primary stakeholders are health intermediaries funded under the Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy, including staff working in Tobacco Control Area Networks (TCANs) and Public Health Units.
