Mental Health Clinicians
ACT Team - Psychiatry

Are you fluent in Vietnamese, Mandarin-Cantonese or Korean? Highly engaged in the communities we serve and in partnership with the Hong Fook Mental Health Association, you will conduct assessments and provide ethno-specific treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to people with severe and persistent mental illness. Dedicated to developing client specific and needs-based programs, you will also participate in public education initiatives and maintain all relevant records. Culturally knowledgeable and fluent in either Vietnamese, Mandarin-Cantonese or Korean, you have a degree in nursing or occupational therapy or a Master's degree in social work and clinical success in psychiatric mental health. Your expertise in the holistic assessment, treatment, and evaluation of clients is complemented by resourceful problem-solving skills and experience utilizing effective therapeutic communication techniques. You also have knowledge of relevant legislation and community resources, established crisis intervention abilities, and a willingness to participate in rotating eight-hour shifts that include evenings and weekends.
